How many landing craft crewmen were killed on each beach, and after D-Day?

Above: The severely-damaged LCI(L) 85 off Omaha Beach on D-Day. After beaching on Easy Red sector at around 0830, the craft was hit by machine gun fire and shells, resulting in flooding below decks and causing the craft to list. At least fifteen of the troops on board were killed, and many wounded. Some four of the US Coast Guard crew were also wounded, but none killed. Surviving casualties were transferred to another ship before the LCI(L) sank. (US National Archives 205578816 / 026-G-038-030-001)

At a minimum, nearly 250 landing craft crewmen died on D-Day, and around 800 (including crews of LSTs) in the entire Normandy campaign. See this page for a more in-depth explanation, and the Roll of Honour page for individual names of those who died.
